EEMI Hosts Major Energy and Sustainability Event

On February 24 the Environmental and Energy Management Institute (EEMI) hosted the 3rd annual Energy & Sustainability Extravaganza along with the Association of Energy Engineers National Capital Chapter (AEE NCC) and Leaders in Energy. The all day meeting took place at the campus SEAS Science and Engineering Building and brought together students and sustainability representatives from industry and area universities. The meeting included panel discussions on Campus SustainabilityGovernment Sustainability, Corporate Sustainability, as well as a panel discussion of the Council on Women in Energy and Environmental Leadership (CWEEL), which GWU SEAS Dean David S. Dolling introduced by discussing the department’s commitment to women in engineering by highlighting the SEAS near top rankings in composition of women engineering students and faculty.              Photo: GWU Professor Joseph Cascio Esq. introduces Dean David S.
